Originally from North Bay, Ontario, I moved to St. John's, Newfoundland over 25 years ago. I decided to make a career in the financial services industry in 1997. I have a beautiful wife, Steffanie, and two children, Zachary and Zoé.
Throughout my 20 plus years in the industry, I have elevated my education by achieving my Certified Financial Planning designation, along with my Chartered Life Underwriter and Certified Health Insurance Specialist designations. I am an active member of Advocis (the Financial Advisors Association of Canada) and I have successfully lobbied the government for change in our industry.

Born and bred in St. John's, I spent the first 18 years of my working life as part of the 5th generation to run our Family Business, Thomas Glass.
I left the glass business in 1996 to follow my love of stocks which lead me from an Independent Financial Advisor, to a Compliance Officer, and finally to a Partner in Acme Atlantic and the Branch Manager of our Investia Financial Services Branch in St. John's. As the BM, I spend my time supporting our near 30 Independent Representatives in NL, NS, NB and ON.
I have one wonderful Granddaughter through my only Daughter Noelle, but have been lucky enough to have enjoyed watching 5 more Step-grandchildren grow up through my extended family and wife of near 20 years Pam Penney.
